Naturalist/Ethnobotany Services
Naturalist Consultation: I have taught Ethnobotany in a wide variety of situations including UNC-CH, Duke, private classes and workshops, Central Carolina Community College, and the North Carolina Botanical Gardens. I can provide education for groups, landowners, potential landowners and others with in-depth identification of native plants, wild animals, geographic features, and other special aspects of the environment. I can also assist with native botanical and animal inventories. I raise animals and have orchards and a large garden. I am skillful at tree pruning and the creative enhancement of environmental features. My emphasis is on how to appreciate, enjoy, enhance, and utilize Nature’s exuberant abundance.
